Holy moly, they sure know how to take care of their fans! It includes some sick goodies like: The Complete Guitar Transcription (signed/hand-numbered by Javier and Tosin), custom 4GB USB card with tracks from the album without guitars and with tracks missing only the guitar solos (a seriously great tool to learn these songs to), 3 AAL “Primetone” jazz picks, and an instant digital download of the tab book (eBook, Guitar Pro files). The only band I was there for was Thrice and the band that opened didnt impress me so I was skeptical when Animals as Leaders came on stage. I discovered Animals as Leaders when Thrice was on their Farwell Tour in 2012. There is also a very special “Deluxe Bundle” of the book available, limited to 250 copies. According to Sheet Happens, “The transcription was overseen and edited by AAL’s virtuoso guitarists Javier Reyes and Tosin Abasi and promises to be the most accurate and comprehensive transcription you will find for these massive songs”.
Abasi initially declined, feeling such an endeavor would be 'egotistical and unnecessary'. Refluxs former record label Prosthetic Records saw Abasis guitar work and asked him to create a solo album for them. The book features the 10 tracks from the album, written in tablature and notation formats. Before Animals as Leaders Tosin Abasi was a member of metalcore band Reflux that had been disbanded.
